My name is Alli Shoop and I am a junior at Texas Christian University. I am currently persuing my bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in business. Through my course work at TCU I have aquired skills such as news reporting, video editing, and basic coding. TCU has also given me the opportunity to enhance my leadership, communication, and problem solving skills. Through my education, my goal has been to take advantage of all learning oppertunities and develop a wide range of skills in my fields of study.

What I Do

Reporter

I analyze newsworthy topics, conduct interviews, and report. I use digital platforms to create graphics, videos, and audio files to enhance my storytelling.

Marketing

I am proficient with social media. I use various platforms to increase audience engagement and facilitate communication.

Author

I enjoy creative writing in my free time. During the pandemic I wrote and published a children's book.

Podcast Host

I created a podcast to share news, personal expieriences, and entertainment. I also invite guests to create engaging content.
